KENILWORTH, NJ – Fearvana Yoga which recently opened its doors on the Boulevard is founded by two veterans. Owner Christa Lapinig Recio is an army veteran, and her partner Akshay Nanavati is a marine veteran. They both strongly believe in giving back to service members. For the entire month of November the studio will be giving free yoga classes to veterans, active military, police, firefighters, and first responders.

“Every November I feel it’s important to acknowledge the sacrifices those that serve our local communities and country” Recio said. “I hope yoga becomes a way for service members to help cope with the stresses of their line of work.”

Service members can register for classes online on the schedule tab and check out a $23 Drop-In using the promo code SERVICE to waive the fee. You must bring your ID as it will be checked when you come in before class.

Fearvana Yoga is located at 604 Boulevard. To register for a class or for more information go to the website www.FearvanaYoga.com or email bliss@fearvanayoga.com.
